The castable ceramic technique poses special requirements to sculpturing waxes. al dente VKS waxes are free of opaque ingredients, so that undesired reactions with investments are avoided. Due to their high stability and low melting range al dente waxes are the ideal waxes for gnathological waxing-up techniques. Cusp tips and individual retainers can be drawn and elaborated exactly. al dente waxes are suitable for all current castable ceramic systems such as Cergogold, IPS Empress, Optec OPC, Dicor or others.
